Description
The Craft Story
Patan Patola is one of the rarest and most technically demanding handloom traditions in the world. Woven in Patan, Gujarat — the ancient capital of the Solanki dynasty — Patola silk has been coveted by royalty, merchants, and connoisseurs for over 900 years. The single ikat technique requires the weaver to resist-dye the weft threads in precise sequence before a single thread is placed on the loom. Yellow holds a place of singular importance in Indian textile tradition — it is the colour of turmeric, of the haldi ceremony, of Vasant Panchami and Baisakhi, of new beginnings and divine blessing. On pure Patola silk, this yellow glows with a warmth and radiance that is simply extraordinary.

Occasion & Styling
The quintessential dupatta for haldi ceremonies, Vasant Panchami, spring festivals, and festive celebrations. Also a stunning addition to any bridal trousseau — a piece that carries the warmth of tradition and the brilliance of master craftsmanship.
Artisan Impact
