Our Artisan Promise
Our Artisan Promise
At Luxurion World, every purchase you make is a direct act of support for India's master weavers and artisans. This is not a marketing claim. It is a commitment we have honoured for over 12 years — and one we will continue to honour with every order, every collection, and every artisan relationship we build.
65–70% of Every Purchase Goes Directly to the Artisan
Most fashion brands pay artisans 10–20% of the final product price. We believe this is unjust. At Luxurion World, 65–70% of every rupee you spend goes directly to the artisan who made your product.
Here is what that means in real numbers:
- You buy a saree for ₹5,000 → the artisan receives ₹3,250–₹3,500
- You buy a dupatta for ₹2,000 → the artisan receives ₹1,300–₹1,400
- You buy a fabric for ₹1,000 → the artisan receives ₹650–₹700
No middlemen. No exploitation. Just craft — fairly valued and fairly paid.
1,000+ Artisans. 12 Years. One Vision.
We work with over 1,000 weavers, dyers, embroiderers, block printers, and finishing artisans across every major craft tradition of India — from the ghats of Varanasi to the looms of Kanchipuram, from the villages of Kutch to the weaving clusters of Odisha and Bengal.
These are not suppliers. They are partners. Many of our artisan relationships span a decade or more — built on trust, consistent work, fair wages, and mutual respect.
Every Craft Tradition of India — Under One Roof
Luxurion World is the only online store in India that markets every regional craft tradition — from north to south, east to west. We carry:
- Banarasi Sarees — Varanasi's 400-year silk brocade heritage
- Kantha Sarees — Bengal's ancient embroidery tradition
- Ajrakh Sarees — Kutch's 4,000-year block printing legacy
- Kanjeevaram Sarees — South India's sacred silk tradition
- Phulkari Dupattas — Punjab's joyful folk embroidery
- Jamdani Sarees — UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage
- Ikat Sarees — India's ancient resist-dye weaving
- Maheshwari Sarees — Ahilyabai Holkar's Narmada legacy
- Chanderi Sarees — 600 years of Madhya Pradesh heritage
- Kalamkari Sarees — Andhra's mythological painting tradition
And 40+ more craft traditions — each one sourced directly from its region of origin, each one made by artisans who have inherited their skill across generations.
What Fair Trade Means to Us
- Above-fair compensation — 65–70% artisan revenue share, consistently
- No middlemen — we work directly with weaving clusters and artisan families
- Consistent work — long-term partnerships, not one-off orders
- Timely payments — artisans are never made to wait for what they have earned
- Dignity of labour — every artisan is a named partner, not an anonymous supplier
- Craft preservation — we actively support dying traditions and younger artisans entering the craft
The Human Stories Behind Every Textile
Behind every saree, dupatta, and fabric in our store is a human story. A weaver who learned at their mother's loom. A dyer who knows the secret of indigo. A block printer whose carved wooden blocks are older than their grandparents.
We believe these stories deserve to be told. Read some of them here:
- Vipul Bhai — A Weaver from the Ghats of Banaras
- Surendra Babu — Taking Forward his Ancestral Heritage
- Tamanna — Employer of Rural Women and Men
- Harkeerat — A Phulkari Weaver from Punjab

Sustainable Fashion — The Way It Was Always Meant to Be
India's handloom traditions were practicing sustainability long before it became a global conversation. Handloom weaving uses minimal electricity. Natural fibres create long-lasting, biodegradable textiles. Slow production respects both the artisan's time and the planet's resources.
When you choose Luxurion World, you choose:
- ✅ Handmade over mass-produced
- ✅ Slow fashion over fast fashion
- ✅ Artisan income over corporate profit
- ✅ Cultural preservation over cultural erasure
- ✅ Conscious luxury over empty status
Our Vision for the Future
We are working towards a future where every artisan we partner with earns a minimum of ₹1 lakh per year from their craft — a dignified, sustainable income that keeps weaving traditions alive for the next generation.
This is not charity. This is commerce done right.
Every purchase you make at Luxurion World is a step towards that future. Thank you for being part of this journey.
