Phulkari literally means flower craft .Phulkari .The main characteristics of Phulkari are the use of darn stitch on the wrong side of cloth with colored silken thread. Dupattas can be teamed with plain kurti-patiala or a cotton top worn over rugged denim for a contemporary look.
FABRIC: Velvet is a type of woven tufted fabric in which the cut threads are evenly distributed, with a short dense pile, giving it a distinctive soft feel. By extension, the word velvety means "smooth like velvet."
