Description
Dramatic, sophisticated, and woven in one of Varanasi's most technically refined silk traditions — this Black Banarasi Silk Tanchui Blouse is a blouse fabric of rare artisanal distinction and contemporary elegance. Tanchui weaving in black is Banarasi craft at its most quietly magnificent.
Tanchui is one of Varanasi's most historically celebrated and technically demanding silk weaving traditions. Originally introduced to Varanasi by Chinese weavers — and taking its name from the Hindi rendering of 'Chinese weave' — Tanchui is characterised by the use of multiple coloured silk weft threads to create intricate, multicoloured patterns in a technique of exceptional delicacy and precision. Each colour in the Tanchui design is woven independently, the threads cut and tied at the back of the fabric rather than carried across, resulting in a textile that is as refined on its reverse as on its face. The patterns produced by Tanchui weaving have a painterly quality — vivid, precise, and deeply beautiful — that is entirely distinct from the metallic richness of zari-dominant Banarasi weaves.
On black, Tanchui weaving achieves a particular drama and sophistication. The coloured silk motifs of the Tanchui design appear against the black ground with jewel-like clarity and depth — each colour more vivid, more precise, and more beautifully defined than it would appear on any lighter ground. A blouse fabric of genuinely exceptional aesthetic power.

Manufacturing
Luxurion World follows a decentralized, artisan-based manufacturing system. Instead of mass production, the company sources handcrafted apparel directly from skilled artisans across India. The production relies on traditional handloom, embroidery, and craft techniques, ensuring each product is unique and culturally rich. Raw materials are often arranged or supported by advance payments to artisans, helping them work independently.
The company mainly acts as a curator and marketer, procuring finished goods and maintaining quality standards before selling through its online platform. This system promotes sustainable production, preserves heritage crafts, and supports rural employment while delivering premium, handmade products to customers worldwide.
