FABRIC: Tissue Silk is an Organza type of fabric. It has an open weave with colored silk woven in one direction and metallic thread in the other. This gives a shot effect when used flat. Silk Tissue can be totally transformed by scrunching a piece in water. The renowned zari brocade weavers of Banaras are known for weaving the tissue saree, which resembles golden cloth. Tissue as a material is light and easy to carry.
FABRIC: Pure Katan Silk is one of the finest varieties of Silk. It is created by twisting 2-filaments together to create a sturdier and more durable fabric.
