Madhubani painting or Mithila painting is a style practiced in the Mithila region of Indian State of Bihar. Painting is done with fingers, twigs, brushes, nib-pens, and matchsticks, using natural dyes and pigments, and is characterized by eye-catching geometrical patterns.This fabric reflects the touch of the human hand, the sensibility and skill of the craftsman thus making every piece unique. Scenes and deity from ancient epics feature in their portrayal apart from social events like marriage and childbirth. It comes with a Top and Dupatta. No bottom.
