Description
One of India's rarest and most labour-intensive weaving traditions, rendered in the serene beauty of blue — this Blue Pure Single Ikat Patan Patola Handloom Dupatta is a wearable work of art from the royal city of Patan in Gujarat. A dupatta of extraordinary artisanal heritage and genuine collector value.
Patan Patola is among the most technically demanding handloom textiles in the world. Produced exclusively by the Salvi weaver community of Patan, Gujarat, Patola sarees and dupattas are woven using the ancient double ikat technique — where both the warp and weft threads are resist-dyed to precise patterns before weaving, requiring perfect alignment during weaving to produce the characteristic sharp-edged geometric motifs that define Patola. This is a fabric that cannot be rushed and cannot be mass-produced — a single Patola dupatta takes weeks to complete. Single Ikat Patola applies this principle to the weft threads alone, creating the distinctive softer-edged geometric patterning characteristic of this variant.
In cool, luminous blue, the geometric Single Ikat patterns of this Patan Patola dupatta are rendered with all the precision and artisanal depth that this ancient tradition demands. Pure silk gives the blue a jewel-like quality — multi-dimensional and alive with natural lustre. A dupatta of genuine heritage significance.

Manufacturing
Luxurion World follows a decentralized, artisan-based manufacturing system. Instead of mass production, the company sources handcrafted apparel directly from skilled artisans across India. The production relies on traditional handloom, embroidery, and craft techniques, ensuring each product is unique and culturally rich. Raw materials are often arranged or supported by advance payments to artisans, helping them work independently.
The company mainly acts as a curator and marketer, procuring finished goods and maintaining quality standards before selling through its online platform. This system promotes sustainable production, preserves heritage crafts, and supports rural employment while delivering premium, handmade products to customers worldwide.
