The Festival of Colours – Holi!

The colorful ambiance of the festival of Holi is just right to match the vibrant spirit which is manifested in each individual as we dance and make merry on this day. Holi is celebrated to mark the victory of good over evil. The legend goes that Hirankashyapa was a king of demonic asuras who demanded that everyone should worship him as God. His son Prahlada disagreed and chose to remain devoted to Vishnu which infuriated his father. He ordered his son to be killed in a pyre but was saved due to Lord Vishnu’s magical protection. Later Lord Vishnu killed Hiranakashyapa and marked the end of evil. The carnival of colors drenches everyone literally and in spirit as well to rejoice on this day. Though the customs and rituals may vary slightly in different regions, yet it is united by the jubilance and the wearing of new clothes. At Luxurion World we have a few round-up for you.
