From our exclusive collection of Banarasi Craftsmen, it is a Master piece, this is a Tussar Silk saree which you would love to have it in your wardrobe. This saree is a perfect occasion wear. Its an exclusive saree Handloom weaved and a fresh collection directly from weavers in Varanasi.
FABRIC: Tussar Silk , also often referred to as ‘Wild Silk, Tassar Silk, or Tusar Silk is an exquisite thread obtained from a wide winged moth that is yellowish-brown in colour. Tussar silk is a lot more textured than any other variety of Silk. The fabric is also cooler than the other varieties and is a lot more porous, therefore, breathable. Being cooler than the other varieties of Silk makes Tussar extremely wearable in warmer parts of the world. Tussar silk has shorter fibres, which makes it less durable. It has a dull gold sheen
CARE: Depending on how silk has been treated it may need to be drycleaned, hand washed, or may be machine washable. It may turn yellow and fade with the use of a high iron setting. A press cloth (a cloth used between an iron and a garment) and a steam iron are recommended.
Note: There may be a slight colour variation in the image from original product due to various reasons like configuration of computer monitor, colour scheme of computer, lighting of the photograph etc
