This is a comfort wear saree.Kota, a town situated in southern parts of Rajasthan, hosts several clusters which have been weaving delicate muslin saris, called Kota Doria or Kota Masuria. The word ‘Dori’ literally translated from Hindi, means ‘threads’.This Sari is woven with real zari.
FABRIC: Kota Doria, also called Kota Dori, is a distinctive woven fabric with a unique square-checked pattern crafted on fine silk.
FABRIC: Tissue Silk is an Organza type of fabric. It has an open weave with coloured silk woven in one direction and metallic thread in the other. This gives a shot effect when used flat. Silk Tissue can be totally transformed by scrunching a piece in water. The renowned zari brocade weavers of Benaras are known for weaving the tissue saree, which resembles golden cloth. Tissue as a material is light and easy to carry.
