Sambalpuri Dupatta
Sambalpuri dupatta is a traditional handwoven ikat dupatta wherein the warp and the weft are tie-dyed before weaving. It is manufactured in Sambhalpur district of Odisha, India. Sambhalpuri dupattas are designed with motifs like shanka, chakra, and flowers, all of which have their own symbolism. Sambhalpuri Ikat, or Bandhkala is characterized by the tie and dye technique, which makes these dupattas stand out.
